Regular is best for the 80 MPH range and the stiff and extra stiff versions will benefit 90+ MPH swing speeds. Instead, it climbs really quickly and evens out slowly. My swing speed is 110-112. You can use the M7 without the remote by using the dial on the handle to control the starting, stopping, and speed.
